FAQs

Where do I park?

Our parking lot is directly behind the church. To help traffic flow, please enter and exit in a counterclockwise direction.

Overflow parking is available next-door, in the parking lot belonging to our neighbors at 1st Church of Christ Scientist. To honor their hospitality, we request that you park only in the back of the lot and be mindful of exiting the driveway at a slow speed.

While street parking is not permitted on Main Street, Brizee Street, the side street directly across Main Street from the main entrance to the church may be used for street parking as well.

Is the church accessible?

Yes. Our accessible entrance is located next to the driveway, and is marked with a sign. A lift will be waiting for you inside the door, and our hospitality team would be happy to assist you if needed.

I am (or my child or sibling or loved one is) part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Will I be welcome here?

YES! You are just as God created you to be, and you will find folx here of every affectional orientation and gender expression.

I wasn’t raised Catholic/ do not identify as Catholic. Can I still come? Can I go to communion?

Yes. Jesus welcomed everyone to his table, and we follow him in this at MMC. Everybody— including those who are uncertain about their faith, those who practice another faith, those who are divorced, those who have been away for awhile— is welcome to receive communion at Mary Magdalene.

What do I wear?

Come as you are— wear whatever is comfortable.

Will my children be welcome?

Yes. Kids are always welcome in Mass with us. Laughter, wiggling, and baby noises are welcome as well. Our Young Church group (currently focused on pre-teen through early teenage years) meets monthly after Mass to work on social justice and service projects and talk about topics of interest together. Please reach out to our office or any staff member if you would like more information.
