At MMC, we strive to be a part of actively challenging systems of injustice, and uprooting the conditions that create poverty and oppression.

 

Our SOCIAL JUSTICE COMMITTEE brainstorms actions to take on behalf of justice and peace, and communicates local opportunities to the congregation. Recent actions/ projects include marching in the Rochester Pride parade; showing up for racial justice, indigenous solidarity, and other actions of witness; and collecting supplies for local farmworkers and refugee families.
